1983 Washburn Force 8 Sunburst
A great Japanese-made Washburn with plenty of low end to spare!
Made in the Chushin Gakki factory, the Force 8 combines a lovely ash body, maple top, and maple neck for serious low-end deliverance. Featuring the layout and controls of a Precision bass, the Force 8 features a single split-coil pickup in tandem with a VT control layout. Two cutaways provide exceptional upper fret access, with the neck boasting what feels like a very soft 'V' near the nut, and then filling out to more of a 'D' shape profile. A straightforward bass ready for another 42 years of play!
Cosmetic condition is okay with some slight scratching to the front and back of the body. A couple of screws have been replaced on the pickguard, wth there also being a split in the pickguard by the bass side heel of the neck. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. No case included.Â
